Beyond Meat announced that more of its products will be hitting store shelves at Walmart starting this week! Walmart will be adding Beyond Sausage Hot Italian to the fresh meat aisle at more than 400 stores as well as expanding the frozen Cookout Classic value-pack to approximately 500 stores.
A plant-based sausage designed to look, sizzle, and satisfy like pork, Beyond Sausage Hot Italian offers more protein and iron with less total and saturated fat and no cholesterol, antibiotics or hormones, compared to traditional pork.
Cookout Classic provides the juicy, meaty taste and texture of the Beyond Burger with the convenience of being sold frozen in a value-pack that will satisfy the whole family. After a successful limited-edition launch of Cookout Classic last summer, Beyond Meat is reintroducing the item as a new permanent product.
The reported expansion furthers the company’s goal of making simple, plant-based meat products more accessible to all. In addition to Beyond Sausage Hot Italian and Cookout Classic, customers can also find the Beyond Burger, Beyond Sausage Brat Original, and Beyond Breakfast Sausage patties at Walmart stores.
